Cloud computing in vogue: doubling by 2015 according to IBM study

A recent IBM study confirms our experience: Cloud computing is becoming increasingly important. According to the study, more than twice as many companies as today will be working with cloud computing solutions such as 1Tool in 2015.

The number of companies that want to redesign their existing business models with cloud computing will increase from 16 to 35 percent within the next three years. This is the result of a study for which IBM and the Economist Intelligence Unit surveyed over 500 top managers.

The fact that cloud computing solutions such as 1Tool, which was programmed in Austria, provide more structure and efficiency in companies has already reached the highest levels of management. However, managers have only recently become aware of another key advantage of cloud computing: cloud computing also helps to drive innovation and redefine business models.

For example, 1Tool supports the evaluation and planning of sales and marketing measures with its clear evaluations (product statistics, sales opportunities, newsletter dispatch logs, etc.) and thus the strategic orientation of the company.

One of the ways in which cloud computing helps to drive innovation is through cross-border collaboration. Employees, customers and suppliers around the world can easily work together on the development of a product, as all project-relevant data is available online at all times. This ensures an efficient and transparent project process and eliminates the need for time-consuming and costly business trips.
