In the next version of the CRM and email marketing tool 1Tool, you can use 1Tool as a calendar server. 1Tool supports the calendar standard “calDAV” so that different calendar programs can access 1Tool as a calendar server.
In 1Tool, you can use authorizations (users, groups, roles) to define who can see which calendars in the company. As a central calendar server, 1Tool has the option of flexibly assigning calendars to users and storing the calendars centrally in the database. Every employee can subscribe to the calendar with their access. Regardless of whether the employee uses an iPhone, iPad or another calDAV-compatible device, all calendars are always connected to the server or are continuously synchronized.
So far, we have successfully tested our calendar server integration with the following calendar software solutions and devices:
- iPhone
- iPad
- iCal
- Sunbird
