We are delighted to present our new success story! A unique ticketing system for Austria’s largest food symposium – Chefdays 2017.

Numerous top international chefs will come together on one stage in Graz and Berlin for Chefdays 2017, exchanging ideas with the most innovative and latest suppliers and staging a cooking show of superlatives. We were able to develop a customized ticket system for this great event to simplify the sale and generation of tickets, as well as visitor admission to the event itself.

The organization of “Chefdays 2017” presented Rolling Pin Media GmbH with the challenge of creating a professional ticketing system. The generation and sale of tickets needed to be easily handled online. In addition, a system had to be implemented that would make the admission process at the event much faster and more efficient.

Founded in 2003, the ROLLING PIN Media Group is one of the most successful and largest special interest media companies in Europe with the gastronomy magazine ROLLING PIN, unique events and awards such as “Leaders of the Year” and the Karrierelounge trade fair.

For the fourth time in Austria and for the first time in Germany, Rolling Pin is organizing Chefdays in 2017, which are regarded as inspirational fireworks in the gastronomy industry. Top international chefs meet together on a stage in Graz and Berlin, exchange ideas with the most innovative and newest suppliers and stage a superlative cooking show.

Online generation and sale of Chefdays tickets 2017

To make the ticketing process for Chefdays 2017 as simple as possible, Koerbler developed its own ticket system that enables the automatic creation of personalized tickets. This system was integrated directly into the Chefdays website, where cooking enthusiasts and interested parties can register for the event. Thanks to the contact form, buyer data is collected and stored directly in the 1Tool. The software then automatically initiates the invoicing and ticket generation process, which is then sent to the participant by email. Both the invoice and the ticket are personalized with the participant’s name thanks to placeholders.

Simple ticket scan via scan app

The ticket is also provided with a QR code generated by 1Tool for faster event entry and simple attendance control. Rolling Pin therefore does not require expensive scanning devices, as the codes are scanned with a smartphone and visitors are registered in the system. Koerbler was thus able to create a convenient entry method that both reduces the risk of fraud and establishes an additional cost-effective sales channel.

Simplified and targeted customer communication

In addition to generating personalized invoices and tickets, the stored buyer data also enables improved customer contact and comprehensive marketing opportunities. For example, reminders and information text messages can be sent directly to participants with 1Tool. On the other hand, ticket buyers can be provided exclusively with further event news if they are interested.
