In May 2022, we changed the name of our software to 1Tool.
Why a new name?
The software has evolved considerably over the last 10 years. Starting with contact management and newsletter dispatch, we have developed the software solution into a comprehensive business software over the last 10 years. A software that not “only” manages customers, but can also be used to manage the entire company. The branding for “KundenMeister” only depicted one or two modules. But definitely not for all the comprehensive modules and functions that the software now offers. And to reflect this wealth of features offered in ONE tool, a new name was needed. In addition, numerous customers from Germany and abroad have joined us who can’t even pronounce the name KundenMeister properly 🙂
The journey of finding a name
Over the last few months and years, we have been working intensively on finding a name and have evaluated and hotly debated many different new names internally. We set out to find a name that would unite all existing modules in one tool. And we looked for a name under which we could also unite future modules and apps. And it was precisely with this in mind that we came up with 1Tool.
A tool that all company employees can use to manage their day-to-day work. Almost 30 different modules are available in 1Tool for this purpose.
The requirements for the new brand name included the following:
- We wanted a simple and short name that everyone – regardless of language – could pronounce.
- We wanted a name that says that you can manage the entire company or organization with just ONE software. That you don’t need more than a single tool. 1Tool.
Why 1Tool? We love the name 1Tool because it’s short. Catchy. Sounds good. And we want to say: you don’t need a plethora of different tools with different interfaces and interfaces. You only need one solution. One interface. One login. One app. 1 tool.
Outlook
And 1Tool’s journey is only just beginning. We have big plans for 1Tool! We will be adding many new functions in the future, but also improving and simplifying existing modules. Many interfaces and plugins are planned and integrations are being considered.
