A separate fleet management app was jointly developed to ensure a better overview of Post AG's vehicle fleet and easier communication with mechanics and workshops. The complete documentation of vehicle damage and repairs also ensures greater transparency in the company.
The so-called WUMS "Workshop and Mobility Service" app is used by more than 800 mail carriers at Post AG and is used daily to organize the maintenance and repairs of 8.500 vehicles. With the app we offer the company a central ticket database for an overview of open orders including real-time evaluations.
As a result, key fleet processes at Austrian Post could be digitized and automated. The use of the entire vehicle fleet could thus be effectively optimized and a better traceability of vehicle damage and inspections achieved.
