You can with that 1Tool Send newsletters to your contacts simply and easily. However, before you send your first newsletter, you must enter your master data. You can find out how this works under Newsletter Preferences.
In the tab Marketing find the option Create your newsletter.
The following window now gives you an overview of all previously created newsletter templates. There are two ways to create a press release for final distribution:
- You select one of your templates, your newsletter header and footer appear as you have defined them in your template. You can/must create the content of your newsletter from scratch.
- You click on the arrow in the empty line and select a newsletter that has already been sent or saved. However, this assumes that you have already subscribed to a newsletter 1Tool have created. You can now continue working on the basis of this newsletter. This is recommended if the layout of your newsletter does not change significantly, the number of text and image elements is always the same and you only want to replace the text or images.
After selecting the template for the newsletter, the area “Create newsletter” displayed. Here you have the option to add the subject and an internal description for your newsletter on the left-hand side. In addition, you can use the "Preview" button at any time to view your newsletter in its final form, just as recipients would see your newsletter.
Your template with the created header and footer will appear on the right. In this view, both can no longer be edited here. If you want to make changes to the header and footer, you have to go back to the newsletter template settings (read more here). The “Create newsletter” section, on the other hand, allows you to add your newsletter content, such as text, images, buttons, etc. To start editing your content, click on the blue plus symbol.
Once you click on the blue plus icon, a line will appear with a gray plus icon in the middle. If you click on this again, you can insert the desired content element. You also have the option of making settings for the entire line. How to add content and make settings is explained step by step here explained. In addition, there are separate menu items in the manual that explain the creation of the individual text elements, image elements, buttons, icons, etc. in detail.
When adding images, please always pay attention to their file names. pictures should save Contain special characters, spaces or umlauts in the file name!
The "Preview" button takes you to the preview page, where you can view your newsletter:
- to your own or any address as a preview.
- can edit further. → back
- can save for further or later use. → to save
- to your mailing list (will be selected in the next step) and save. → save and select recipient
- can send without saving. → Select recipient without saving
How you can now send your newsletter to selected recipients and use your newsletter filters optimally to select your recipients, you can read under the menu item “Send your newsletters".
