Define contact types/views yourself

In order to be able to distinguish contacts more easily and quickly, you have the option of defining views and contact types yourself and specifying your own fields for them.

For example, views or contact types could have a "Company", "department"Or"Person" be. For each type you can define which fields are used and how they are arranged. For example, companies do not need dates of birth and individuals do not need UID numbers, for example.
To make it easier to see what type of contact it is, you can create your own icons define per contact type.
The view of a contact can now differ depending on the type, so each type can have its own mandatory fields To be defined.

In the view that now appears, you can find all the contact types that have already been created. You can edit, copy, delete or add modules to these.
New contact types can also be created here. Simply click on "New contact type" create.

Under the rider Masterdata Managment The desired attributes can be defined using drag and drop. If you click on a field, you can simply move it to the desired column with a mouse click.
Define exceptions by selecting the desired contact groups in which the field should appear without exception. By activating this check box, you can define different mandatory fields for each individual field.

Under the tab Settings you can make an additional selection. For example, you can specify whether a contact picture should be displayed or whether the text field should have a border.

The rider Contact options gives you the opportunity to display whether contact persons of the respective contact are to be displayed or whether the existing functions of the main contact should be taken over when creating a new contact.

Under the rider Contact groups icons Icons and their colors can be defined for various contact groups. This means that you can already see which contact it is in the quick search.

Under the rider organization chart you can map hierarchies in your company or in the companies of your customers, partners or suppliers. You always have an overview of which departments there are in a company, which people belong to which department and who is the contact person here.
