You can also add placeholders to your template so that certain options always appear in your newsletters, so you don't have to manually enter them for each newsletter.
browser version
placeholder | Description |
#ONLINE_VIEW | If you link a certain word or phrase with this placeholder, this offers the possibility of a browser version. If your newsletter is not displayed correctly in your recipient's mail program, they have the opportunity to view your newsletter as an online version. |
First insert your desired sentence as text (you will learn how to insert a text element here). Then mark the corresponding word or sentence and click on the link symbol
In the window that appears, enter the placeholder as the target link #ONLINE_VIEW and click on “insert link” to insert the placeholder.
unsubscribe link
There are two options for the unsubscribe link in the newsletter template.
placeholder | Description |
###UNSUBSCRIBE### | Add this placeholder as text in your text field to give your recipients the option to unsubscribe from the newsletter. (Linking a word/sentence is not necessary here). A predefined log-off text appears, which itself cannot be changed. |
#MAILOPTIONSLINK | This placeholder also gives you the option of setting an unsubscribe link. In contrast to the “Unsubscribe” placeholder, however, it is possible to link a self-created text to it. |
Unsubscribe
Enter the placeholder directly into the text field and then click on the tick symbol to save your entry. As an alternative to entering the link manually, you can also use the gray plus symbol to insert an unsubscribe link element in your respective line (you can find out how to do this here)
Mail Options Link
Enter the desired text in the text field and highlight it. Then click on the link icon and in the window that appears, enter the placeholder #MAILOPTIONSLINK as the target link.
