The start of a new year would be a good opportunity to rethink old habits: sending invoices by post, for example. <\/p>\n\n<p>In this post, you can read 7 reasons why it makes sense to use email instead of post when sending invoices in future.<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>#1) Save on material costs:<\/strong> If you send invoices electronically (for example with 1Tool), it can <a title=\"Sharedserviceslink.com - Electronic Invoicing\" href=\"http:\/\/www.sharedserviceslink.com\/file\/92577\/electronic-invoicing.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">be up to 100 times cheaper than sending them by post<\/a>. After all, you save on printing costs, stationery, envelopes and postage. <\/p>\n\n<p><strong>#2) Reduce labor costs:<\/strong> Clicking the SEND button is much faster than printing, folding, inserting into the envelope, sticking the stamp on and placing in the outbox (or taking to the post office).<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>#3) Sustainability:<\/strong> Sending an e-mail is more environmentally friendly than transporting a letter from A to B by truck. What&#8217;s more, you don&#8217;t need envelopes when sending an e-mail, which means less paper. <\/p>\n\n<p><strong>#4) Advantages for customers:<\/strong> The invoices are clearly organized on the PC and can be processed collectively and printed out if required.<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>#5) Confirmation of receipt:<\/strong> When sending invoices via 1Tool, you can be sure that the invoices will reach the recipient. After all, you will receive an error message if the sending process did not work. You will also receive a CC copy of the invoices sent.  <\/p>\n\n<p><strong>#6) Uniform discount period:<\/strong> Your customer calculates the discount period from the invoice receipt date, you from the dispatch date. If you send your invoices by post, the date of dispatch and the date of receipt are naturally not the same. This is not the case with electronic dispatch: dispatch date = date of receipt.
