Continuous vulnerability scanning at 1Tool

Your data deserves more than a good feeling

As the operating system for your business, 1Tool manages sensitive data – contacts, orders, finances, documents. That is why security is not an option for us, but standard equipment. One key element: we have our systems scanned for vulnerabilities on an ongoing basis.

Continuous vulnerability scanning

Using a specialised security solution, we monitor our externally reachable systems continuously and are alerted to new risks as soon as they appear. Among other things, this lets us check for:

  • known security vulnerabilities (CVEs) in the server software we use,
  • open ports and network weaknesses,
  • TLS/certificate and configuration issues,
  • typical web vulnerabilities in our applications.

This allows us to spot potential attack surfaces early – and close them before they become a problem.

What this means for you

  • Ongoing protection instead of a snapshot: security is monitored permanently, not once a year.
  • Fast response: new vulnerabilities are detected and fixed by priority.
  • Transparency & traceability: checks are documented – important for audits and for your own due diligence.

In line with NIS2 and GDPR

With the NIS2 Directive, the requirements for cybersecurity and vulnerability management are rising significantly. Continuous vulnerability scanning is a recognised measure for meeting them – and at the same time supports the technical safeguards the GDPR requires for personal data. By making continuous scanning a fixed part of our security concept, we are building on exactly this foundation.

Part of a multi-layered security approach

Continuous scanning is one building block – not the only one. We also rely on secure development, code reviews before every release and regular updates of our systems. We see security as an ongoing process, not a box to tick. We are happy to tell you how we protect your data. Get in touch with us or find out more about 1Tool.
